Same issue as mentioned above, started wc3C and it got autodeleted and I cannot download it again.

Getting this Trojan:Win32/Zpevdo.B when i try and open the app, deleted it and downloaded it, and still the same message, wtf???!

Do note that this is a false positive.

Windows Defender labels the activities that go on as a "trojan", but overall as mentioned, it's a false positive. People have noted this issue came up recently due to a recent OS update.

In order for this not to be deleted, you will need to add an exclusion to your Windows Defender to ensure it does not delete the wc3connect client.

Navigate to the following:
Windows Key > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Virus & threat protection

Virus & threat protection > Virus & threat protection settings > Add or remove exclusions

From here you'll click "Add an exclusion" > file > select "wc3connect"

This should hopefully fix the issue of it being deleted.

@unitil Yeah that worked, thanks for the help..I had never gotten that before, mustve been after the system update like u mentioned.

while there was no fix for this, I updated wc3, and oh boy.... On battle.net i had leavers every game (at least 1 person before min 10), usually past min 10 - games were 3v4 or 3v5. The breaking point was when a guy joined and started spamming chat with caps lock, making it impossible to see anything in game. And I couldn't ignore him!! Squelch command didn't work because I guess he was from a different realm. And also games on ENT fill faster than on b.net. Long go ENT!

i rolled back to 1.30.1 and then i added exeptions to use wc3connect. When i open wc3connect i see the game list.. click a game then run the wc3.exe go to lan and see no games .. is there anything i miss here ? I run 1.30.1.10211

@jungleboyz go back to page one and download the MEGA file.Either for windows or MAC w/e u use.Then open the .exe file in it and ur back .

once you open the game you will need to click open frozen throne, then you will be able to see the games

I have had no problem using W3connect before but now,

1. When i launch my game and i select Local Area Network. None of the games show up

2. I have no problem downloading and launching w3connect and logging in. (same as before)

why isnt it recognizing that i logged in and it shows the the Lan games like before?

We detected your installation at C:\Users\Alohas808\Documents\Warcraft III, but it doesn't seem to be on the 1.30.1 patch.
We recommend creating a backup of your 1.30.1 WC3 installation in case you want to try the 1.30.2 patch, or in case you accidentally upgrade.
If you copy your 1.30.1 WC3 installation to C:\Users\Alohas808\wc3, then we'll automatically detect it.
