Name: HealbyColor
Age: 24
Game moderator position (see below for choices): Legion Moderator #4

Brief introduction: I have been playing Legion for many years, including Angel Arena. I have a rotating schedule and work 4 days a week. I am on very frequently, most hours of the day. I live in the United States. I am very kind and honorable in principles, intentions, and actions. I am also upright and fair.

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? Since 2008. 30 days or so.
Two main accounts HealbyColor-396 games LmsLegion- 642 games

What is your current time zone? -5:00 GMT (US Eastern Time)

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: Days of Legion and teaching many people how to play. I treat others with respect and try to give the best possible answer I can. Honestly, I don't have very much. I was hoping that I would get it here! On our clan website I register users and manage user groups, also help people set up g-proxy.
http://www.pureskill.p.ht/index.php

Why should we accept you? My experience in Legion. I am very active on the forums. I try to give speedy responses and I am never biased. I am very professional and nice at the same time so most people like me. I explain why I am making my decision and always provide the proper information.

Why do you want to become a game moderator? For better gaming, for fellow Ent players and all around better service. I would like to try to make the game mostly hacker free. I think if you explain why someone is being banned, for how long, and why that long they will not do it again. I would also explain if they do commit a second offense the ban would even be longer.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community?I would bring fast responses and new ideas to help make ENT an even better community.I would offer advice about legion and bring totally non-biased decision making. I would also have professionalism and give a sincere response. I already have brought things like the legion boards and a lot of advice about g-proxy.

Closing Statement: Hopefully you can look past the spamming and the copy and paste that I have done and see that I can be a real asset to ENT.

Question : viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6341&p=28534#p28488

Why did you !yes. Even if he lied, wait a bit 1-3 round before voting. If you see it keep going wrong, that all the other team said he afk kick plz. Then !yes.

Yes you get fooled, but you shouldn't be if you're an admin/mod.

Second Question :
When would you use the command !mute and !kick? Wich are command allowed for moderator to use in-game.

They were raging each other earlier in the game thought someone may have sold or tried to lose by not building then I noticed who they vote-kicked did not leak

!mute for excessive raging and rudeness !kick if a player is trying to game ruin but neither should be done without 100% certainty

Hi HealByColor.

I would support your application base on your eagerness to learn. Please do not prove me wrong.

Your application
I would like you to cover a myriad variety of ban requests, be them from your personal games or comments on members'.

As for those you posted as comments in members' requests, it would be good if you can 'behave' professional by just stating the facts and leave the 'drama' out.
E.g. - viewtopic.php?f=8&t=7011

And we do not base on precedence when handling ban requests. There could be some bad eggs who always violate rules but each request is unique and each request is isolated.
E.g. - viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6552&p=30004#p30004

Improve on your temper when a negative comment is made on you. You can refute by stating more facts from the replay to illustrate to members that you had watched the replay.
E.g. - viewtopic.php?f=24&t=6231&p=27942#p27942

As for Appeals, personally I do not advocate newly made Admins to touch on this column. Thus I will put very little emphasis on that when I view your application.

I would suggest against the use of !kick command unless you have all players (not counting the violator and yourself) voicing their consensus to kick the intentional game ruiner.

Remember this, the game is not solely yours, not solely your team mates'.

If you kicked him, the sole responsibility lies on you.
If the post game replay suggest a violation insufficient to support your action, you will be held fully liable for your decision. And you will be subjected to disciplinary actions by your group lead.

A better approach is to use the forum and ban the game ruiner. By doing so, even if you penalized the player wrongfully, you will stand a chance to mitigate your error. But if you kick a player erroneously, you are doomed.

In game moderation is one of the toughest chore. Unless you are refereeing the match, you do not have a bird's eye view on the situation.
What Mods do in members' ban request is judging the situation in a holistic view. This is something you cannot attain in the live game duration.
Good luck with your application, since I am not a moderator at the moment, I thought I would watch. *sits and watches*

If you were to boot some one in game or mute some one in game, how would you go about to rectify such a volatile situation?

A: Tell every one to f**k off
Like a boss!
B: Get all defensive and point reasons out for why you did it.
whining
C: Admit to what you did and be prepared to face consequences for your action, which could be temporary or permanent.
Boo! this is totally not the answer
Regardless of the other moderator's opinions I stand by what I said. You've taken a 180 and have my support. Your judgment is good enough. @nutz, let's face it that none of us have perfect judgment including myself. I vote to give him a shot. Keep in mind I denied him last time.

Nobody makes a 180 in a matter of weeks. He's shown his true colors and we'll see it again soon if we accept him. He's just repressing it temporarily.

You show me a person that's changed his character, and I'll show you someone who's changed for the worse.

I have no clue what your referring to, enlighten me? I think I missed out on that whole thing.

As for having no experience in being a moderator do not worry, I am one moderator when I applied for the job had no experience whatsoever and still was given the opportunity, I will state this again, skill level in a game no matter how good you are, doesn't make you a great moderator. I know some really good players who are friends who would make terrible moderators.

[Oh yeah skill level does not apply to AdventureClub cause he is just awesome ^_^]

My experience with Healbycolor, aka. LmsLegion is pretty bad.
He used to have a bad reputation, way worse than ig0d when it comes to immaturity, I'm speaking among ltm players some time ago.
I'll take some time to check out his posts how is he nowdays, but to tell you the truth i doubt that people can change that fast, and if they do its proly to achive smth, so basicly its mostly fake.

There is nothing wrong with any mode as long as red does not state a mode before decides and does another.
