Brief introduction: I have been playing DotA for many years, including the lawless dark ages, and am eager to contribute to some form of order in DotA games.

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? Since 2007. Unable to estimate hours.
What is your current time zone? -5:00 GMT (US Eastern Time)

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: I am an attorney with experience in arbitration. Why should we accept you? My experience in arbitration, rule application, and sincere desire for a more fair and fun DotA experience for all players makes me an ideal moderator. As you can see from any of my forum posts, I do not write frivolous comments and always fully explain my position. It is my belief that players will feel ENT is a more fair hosting service if rules are applied judiciously and explained. When people understand why they are banned, they are less likely to recommit the offense.

Why do you want to become a game moderator? As an attorney, I do not get to play many games of DotA each day. When I come home from work and have taken care of other business, I may have time for 1 or 2 games. However, all too often those games are ruined by someone who disregards the rules. It is my desire to help keep DotA clean by moderating ban requests and ensuring a fun and thriving DotA community.

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community? Judicious application of the rules and new ideas to help make ENT an even better community.

Closing Statement: As I have stated above, DotA was not always an easy game to play. Before the proliferation of hosting bots and ban moderation, games were often ruined by leavers, AFKers and intentional feeders. Hosting bots like ENT have made DotA fun again, and it is my desire to help ensure that DotA remains a fun and fair game for everyone.

I like how you carry yourself also seem very professional! You have experience and wanna keep a clean game all the major things I would like to enforce.

No. I was banned once for "revealing a teammate's location." However, that ban was lifted on appeal, found here: http://www.clanent.net/forum/viewtopic. ... c1f9#p9515

EDIT: Yes. I did not realize "revealing a teammate's location" is ghosting. However, the above still applies as the ban was lifted. See linked topic above.

I'd like to just say that, due to the swiftness of the mods and admins responding to people's ban appeals, it is often very difficult to get a comment in before the appeal is processed and locked. Good job, guys - you are clearly on top of things!

i would say ive played with him in a few games online and ive seen him posting around the forums. he seems to have a decent handle on how the forums work. bringing a judicial mind to our mods is a good thing. i have seen you run a little hot but this is ok because i feel that with this responsibility you will take personal pride in this and do the best you can. and be as fair and cool headed as you can.

Nice ban requests and also appeals,

I support your application.
and i have to state to you that you need to care with your responsibilisation. pay more attention usualy, in feature to prevent some misunderstanding and coincidencion.

Such a lack of appeals requests i do automatically making you a mod. :lol:

Up to other admins mods, opinion you got my full support glad we got a people who not apply only for, when we have alot interesting and mystery maps that we need a good law enforcers.
