Brief introduction: I am an insurance broker. I like to play dota in my spare time ap mode is best... I have 4 children and a wife...
What are your current hours of playing time (approximate): on weekends and from 9-2 am at night
What is your current time zone: eastern
Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: well I learned a bit of how to detect map hackers from naboo and f-train and how to look up rules in the wiki. I am ok at dota it self but I play much better in ap mode it seems that mode has more team play than em
Why do you want to become a game moderator: I want the community to have a better time playing fair games and with more help you can get the cheaters out of the community much faster
What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community: an impartial judge I am fair. I dont want to ban someone just to have them banned this is not personal. I am goofy and need to learn the game better but I can be a fun wise crack also

Closing Statement: I applied once before but I needed more experience..... Yes I might change user id in apem games because apem is broken a bad player can pick a broken hero and its just about game....apem also has more cheaters and leavers and stackers so if you want to play on a decent team you almost have to make new accounts..... I am not the best player but most NFL coaches know the game well and the rules but could not crack it playing the game them self. Teachers are not always the best players. The best players are usually selfish and could care less about helping.

-What games do you play? dota only? ltd? etc? Open to try new games or you wish to stick to the ones you love?
-You regularly play 9-2am. How much of that time are you willing to commit checking ban requests and appeals? The main obligation of mods is to review and process brqs and appeals.
-Please provide a list of ban request and appeals that you believe notably show your knowledge of the game.

I am open to try more games in order to help out as a mod I have played different games i just like dota the most, so I play it the most. I usually only play one or two games then read up on posts sit on chat and laugh at f-train getting in trouble. so the rest of the time is yours. I have not done to many appeals but a list will follow

Also, are you comfortable using mod tools such as fcd, drm, replay seeker, etc?

Unfortunately in my opinion based on your activity alone I don't think you're ready to be a moderator. There is a huge gap in activity between May 31st and July 4th which is yesterday where you didn't post at all. Any reason for that?

As of right now I think that you should improve on your activity whilst posting valuable contributions onto ban requests that you haven't yourself been the original poster as that is what would be expected of you if you were to get the position. I hope this doesn't deter you as you seem genuine.

Yes i did not post much I am an insurance broker and there are times I have to do continuing education.... Its an 8 hour test I have to study for....especially since I am trying to get to be an IMO....the tests are longer and harder and the series 8 license is pardon my french a son of a bitch. Unfortunately there will be twice a year that I have to take tests although not of that magnitude. In December I have to take my anti money laundering test. I understand if at this point my job is a reason to not consider me for the position

I would like to ad I want to help not interfere. At one time the admins seemed short of help then there was a ton of new mods so I kinda bowed out, then when I do help I was accused of map hacking or using fcd in game so I just kinda stopped altogether... I eventually received an apology from the mod that did that. Not that i am complaining or making excuses just saying

Yeah, I agree with ShadowZz. This guy is not ready. Maybe if he gets his activity up, maybe he could become decent mod in few months... But right now, no.

I am rising a bit of concern in your DRM/FCD usage, despite said having them, I see none in the ban request(s) you posted. Also, information on the ban requests are a little low but nothing too bad. Last concern would probably be just activity seeing as most of those are from January and no really recent contributions/reports.

I'm +1 with Haunt on this, activity needs to improve but I do hold the same insight of potential in time.

Could you describe how "looking up rules in the wiki" is a relevant experience you want us to acknowledge? What has the difference between DotA apem and ap have to do with your experience?

Your application is rather short and I do have the impression that you didn't put many thoughts into it.

Well when doing ban request when there is a rule I might not be familiar with I know where to look it up before I waste admins valuable time. Its asks what my experience is in warcraft other than being a chieftain of my own clan for a couple of years its playing the game. I used to have my own hosting bot so I am familiar with the set up but I am sure things have changed a bit since then. ... as far as ap or apem goes nabo was concerned with my kd so I made the point that in ap mode my kd is solid in em mode I dont do as well. As I applied once before F- train and a few other mods where teaching me how to use the drm and fcd....maybe I didnt post the information (copy and past) but at that point and time of course I could not approve or deny so I thought it would be best served to just help give the mods information of where to look so they didnt wast time watching the whole replay. I have Played warcraft 3 since 2004 although I have played dota for a while with having children a solid career and a wife my play time is now limited to weekends and late night when kids are in bed.

Actually when I first applied months ago the Idea was that I could help the mods out by dealing with the simple ban requests of people who intentionally ruin games while being taught how to detect map hackers. This way it frees up time for the mods to deal with map hackers and dodgers, while still giving me the experience and the training. I wasnt looking for privileges as i do not think there are any...there might be but I do not think they will out weight the attitude I might get from nabo while learning lol. How ever it seemed they wanted map hack detecting experience so I went to that it seemed that this took a bit of time to learn and I did have a little bit of help I did do it a bit but tried to refrain from any comments if I was unsure of what I was seeing.

IMO you still need some work with brq's. Never saw you in chat, you are not very active, you said that you playing at weekends only for for 5 hours. You have to be active here every day to help mods with brq's, and to tell your opinion. - 1 for me. (dont know if my vote counts

Well activity is somewhat low, rarely see you on chat (Think i've seen you a few times back then, then stopped and started seeing you again recently). Besides FCD, i don't really see any DRM usage in posts + your comments on previous brqs were somehow vague sometimes (noticed lately you're posting more accurate info).

So far, i have to agree with what others mods have said: You should raise your activity, start learning & using tools (DRM) on brqs (You mentioned you knew how to use it, yet while searching through your brq list, i rarely see the usage of it) so it's -1 from me for now, however i do hold the same idea as others: i see some potential. I see that only recently have you started becoming active. (yesterday) You have not yet shown us your knowledge with moderating tools in maphack related ban requests. If you need help you can always ask staff members on chat. I know you have the potential, but your activity / knowledge with tools is our main concern. If you can remain active for the next couple days, I will give you my support
