Q: What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)?

- No specific time period don't really play much as I used to. Just helping out here like what I used to in the past and getting back into doing that.
I was inactive before it was personal family related issues and real life work stuff.

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III:
I was a game moderator in the past (Tue Jun 11, 2013). Since I have more experience, I know how to use the tools that is required to do so and catching people who violated the rules.

Q: Why should we accept you?

- Being active on forums and DIscord chat.

- I believe in my self that I can do it and move forward along the way.

- I would be good for the team to see if there's people who broke the rules either in specific games or general rules and make them aware that those rules doesn't get violated again in the near future.

- I miss doing these kinds of stuff old members that I know is still here

- This position as a Game Mod for DotA/LTD would be a good asset to help out and learn from other game moderators if something I'm not sure about.

- I can be a good addition to the team and a positive attitude.

Q: Why do you want to become a game moderator?

- Help the ENT community handle ban appeals & requests.

Q: What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community?

- Get rid of people who try to cheat in ENT Gaming or any of the rules that may have been violated.

Hoping to see him on staff soon. Judging by the amount of activity in such a short time I am excited to !support him especially as a returning mod. Reviews are good, initially he was mentioning likely ban durations that were a little off but that's no problem, once I mentioned it in PM he stopped giving durations and I have no doubt he would follow the handbook guidelines just fine once reacquainted with them.

I want to add that quantity != quality. His omnipresence in the forum does not necessarily make him a suitable moderator. He has commented very often on ban requests and ban appeals, but rarely gives any opinion or input on the case in question. I feel that his analysis and statements lack the quality of judgement that you would expect from a moderator. This has nothing to do with sympathy. Here are a few examples:

The quotes he takes from the game and his thoughts are not chronological, so that a reader could get the wrong impression that the offender in question solo sent lvl 3 after a player (It was me) told him not to do so (The chat fragment is also very unspecific). The chat which is quoted, however happened 3 minutes after he sent.

The next quotes he takes are redundant, because they are also included in the original post. The second thing is that the chat quote alone does not offer proof that a player solo sent and with the missing time stamps on the action log, you can't tell whether it happened or not.

He also does not offer any thoughts on a possible ban or warning.

He gives an input on the solo sending which is cool, however the written expression in this post is very poor. He does not offer any proof for toxic behaviour or discusses whether a ban would be suitable or not.

While not focusing, you were controlling the king and tk at the end ruining the game on purpose.

What are you going to do differently next time if you were unbanned?

Because you have violated other games, I would suggest you reviewing the rules it's in the wiki, you can wait until your ban expires, and would not support unbanning you at this time.

The post shows very poor written expression and it also lacks input. The rule that the OP broke is not even quoted directly, you can just read from the answer that it was "tk" which means teamkilling. It is not specified what exactly the offender did, only that it might has something to do with the king. It is unclear why the chat is quoted here. Formatting tools could have been used here.

I think that his answers do not match the analysis and understanding on the matter that other moderators showed in recent applications and furthermore, that his input is not sufficient to make decisions regarding ban requests and appeals. The other matter is obviously his lack of English skills, which is a problem. I guess many of us are not English native speakers, but since the community is run in English it is still a problem to have only limited expression in that language.

I disagree with all what you have just said that's fine (your opinion).

No need to put input about opinions or anything I can put whatever I want as long it related to whatever it is.

Better to go straight to the point . Which rule they have violated and move on, review the game, and so on for ban requests.

I have reviewed the game and is on point so not sure what your issue is about it.

That's how I do things if you don't like it then that's your problem not mine.

Seems fine to me what I'm doing on ban appeal/requests and there is no lack of "english skills."

No offense, but your answer is kind of prooving my point. You do not argue and claim that it is "your problem" when you are applying for the position of a moderator. Everyone has an opinion and that is fine, but I would expect from a moderator to have more than that - to be helpful, an analytical thinker and to be able to be fair and neutral.

This dude is super gullible, and doesn't read into what is actually being said. He posted on an appeal of mine telling me that I was banned, when in reality the issue was a block on a color code for one year... It's small, but something to take into consideration.

His english is not perfect but understandable for all so I see no issue there.

And I agree with his last post. He reviewed them with timestamps of the violations he believed were broken, in order to show his competence in reviewing replays and identifying the violations. There are no inaccuracies in what he does post about. He didn't bother looking at things he no doubt saw to be irrelevant (which honestly, in all the requests you provided was a correct assumption: e.g the one with 'toxic behaviour' he mentioned it wasn't worth discussing because he should use !ignore - exactly what I would have said in review). Dedicating time appropriately is actually a moderator skill as well given we have limited time to apply to ban requests and appeals. Toxic chat is often brought up in requests because the OP is generally posting because they were annoyed by the violator, but it's rarely relevant.

I'll be blunt and point out that this opposition to this application is most likely purely based on the fact that you are aggrieved that he called you out on some things like not putting suggested ban durations (which i already warned you about and was spot on) as in here: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=127814

I know you'll tell me that's not the reason, you simply saw his reviews are subpar etc, but honestly I highly doubt you would have bothered to come here and discuss his application if he hadn't called you out.

Having been on both sides, it is much easier to verify information using the tools avaliable to moderators as opposed to regular users. In terms of his English skills, he is clearly not a native speaker, however, I feel his comments are still understandable for the most part and effectively relay the necessary information.

True Chaos's reviews I have seen show that he understands ENT rules and how to apply them. Additionally, his activity has been very high recently on both the forums and Discord. !Support
