Game moderator specialty (see below for choices): #1 - DotA

Brief introduction: I love DotA, been playing it on and off almost since it was first released. Don't play as much since 6.XY, but then I started getting into various custom games too (which is why I never tried other games like DotA 2 that don't bring anything special). I play for fun, and don't want that fun or anyone else's ruined by game ruiners (except their fun from trolling, it's okay to ruin their's :)!

What are your current hours of playing time (approximate)? Hours change, usually two-four hours a day between 4pm and 1am east coast.

What is your current time zone? EST/EDT

Describe any relevant experience, both in moderating and in Warcraft III: a few years ago I was shaman / moderator in Clan MAST, a safelist-based league that was pretty popular (~200 users active at any time, at its peak). Haven't done anything since then, but it was pretty cool :P As for Warcraft III, I've been playing DotA and a few random custom games for a while, so I guess you could say I have some experience in them? ;)

Why do you want to become a game moderator? I want people to enjoy Warcraft III, not rage at each other or have their game ruined by a troll. I actively look for people who feed (on purpose), sell their items after raging, rage and AFK in their fountain, or otherwise ruin the game (I go through chat logs and replays, and looking for certain keywords to find the trolls and get them banned :).

What will you bring to the ENT/Warcraft III community? I love how you guys host a bunch of small, one-day tournaments. I didn't get a chance to participate in any so far, but from what I heard, they look really fun! So one thing I want to do is to host more of them, maybe even make it something routine (like two a month).

Also possibly set up a flagging system where users can !flag vote a game ruiner (or maybe just !votekick, haven't thought about details yet) and then moderators can browse through the details on why user was flagged. Then moderator can quickly look over chat logs for suspicious things (like if someone said "he sold all of his items x.x" in all chat), and then examine replay if something was found. Could really curb down the number of game ruiners, I think.

Closing Statement: Whether or not you accept my application, ENT is awesome! The autobalanced games and random map host bot and public hosting system... so many cool features you guys rolled out, and in little more than a year. Oh, and I'll continue posting ban requests for game ruiners!

So please fix this. This very important thing especially because you want to become moderator.

I don't know which game you're referring to. Probably the latest game at the time, but that doesn't really make sense because I only said that once. I think I was pretty chill that game (and most).

Eh, maybe you didn't see me, but I posted lots of ban requests which I linked above. Most of the ban requests of that type are pretty straightforward, so commenting on them would only be spamming. Since you have lots of game moderators it's not that hard to not see any of my requests, especially since I provide all the information needed for them to be processed efficiently.

What does "not even visible on forums" mean?

I'm not talking about your own requests etc. I'm talking in general. As a mod you have to handle all people's request and not only your own. So the reason is simple.

Like I said, if I could process the request then I would, but the requests I deal with are straightforward and I don't think me commenting on them would do any good (unless they're missing some important information, but I do look at other requests and comment on them if they're missing time or whatever).

It means you are active, forums, chat, posting etc. Getting to know people, and them getting to know you. If you can't be active on forums and post from time to time, we don't need you. Stated 100 times before, 90% of our time is used on forums, and rest is up to you, where you want to spend.

I am active on the forum. Only log in to post, which I do.

What agreement mean there was the next : Help mod. Some people give time. Still you can confirm them. It's not about adding stuff the requester missed. It's about how you'll do your work, as a moderator.

In other word. 'Act' and just 'act' don't tell you're... A moderator. Give your opinion, why he should be banned or not. Review the replay etc. If you can't do that now, you will not after getting the position of a moderator.

Like agreement said : 90% of your time will be used on the forum. Not 90% on wc3 and 10% on forum. So, review replay as you were a moderator. Give your opinion, why you would ban, reason, proof with time etc.

For exemple : User : Account1@entconnect should be banned for item destruction at : 21min replay timer. He destroyed Tread/mjolnir/radiance

Then bring proof with DRM (if you can) that he 'drop' and 'targer attack' the said item. This way, when a moderator will come and look at it, he'll just speed up replay to the time, check who killed. Confirming it with drm in the end.
