i always help novice players in game. give them advice what items to get and what they should do in team fights. im the kind of player who would go on to scourge to help balance a game out (*note* this is only when im playing with myself*) <-- laughed at that lol. have i flamed in a game? yeah ive done that. excessive flaming tho? no. but if i was a mod it would be different. i would have to not flame/troll because that would be one of my responsibilities.

There's rules to follow, not excessive flame, rage, racial, insult, etc. Not because you become a mod you have to act different. I'm telling this because I'm a respectful person. My nature is to be mature and neutral in whatever situation. I say it, again and again, internet is a western / Free-4-All. If someone is insulting you, flaming you, don't answer him or get in his game (that's what he want), warn him that he can get a ban or that you will report it. Let it be in his game alone. There's no need to rage out in front of a screen. This is my personnality. I'm this kind of person, why would I rage for a game? It's a game, you lose and win. There's noob and good player. Etc.

Just show who you are in real life. Always. If you're mad kid, rager, it's fine, it's you. Still, for being a mod, it's not in the criteria we're looking for.

It's like applying for being doctor, but you smoke during the surggery... Hummmm, maybe not my cup of tea, ashes in my stomach. You can be brillant, know the game, be the best player of dota we ever seen, of legion td, whatever. Skilled or not, we want to see you're participation as a staff, mean : Suggestion/Complaint/Request/Appeal and such other on the forum like Greating people. Of course, your know of the dota game help you to analyse the situation, still, you have to know what is to; afk griefing, maphack, etc. There's more then just banning people, it's taking much time. Free time. You will realise, that you've got to like IT! Otherwise, being staff member for... command in game? You can't use 3/4 of it, and other are in extrem necessary. Only power you have is this, ban people when process request or unban when appealed. (there's other, but that's the major) So for being simple, when you are applying, think this we are looking, not your experience around a game. Stats doesn't make staff! (I like this ) Well, for everyone this is good! :

Patient, conciensious, neutral, knowing bug of tool you're using (fog-click etc), respectful in-game/out-game/in-PM/ well, always. Oh and writing the most proper possible. We're not on MsN or Facebook/Twitter here, we aren't your friend too, so don't come with HEY NIIGAA or stuff like that. We're on a forum. I know I don't have the best english of the world over typing, but I'm doing my best, so everyone should. Never give up if you're interest to be a mod. If you're not anymore, I will just wish you the best of luck and keep playing on ENT !

well i mean i do still want to be a mod. i want to be able to ban in the ban request forums or unban as well. im not doing this for commands in the game im really just trying to help out.

i dont excessively flame in games. i dont normally flame anyways, you really have to grind my gears to get me to that point. in fact that pm was prob the worst ive gotten in a long time. but thats because me and that guy had history.
either way i did apologize for that. which doesnt negate it, i understand. and i never go racial or anything like that. infact im more likely to ban someone who uses racial slurs as apposed to someone who is just flamming (as long as its not excessive).
and as for the acting different as a mod. well i understand what you mean. i do. but what i meant by that was that i would try harder to control myself and maintain a respectful neutral manner if i was a mod. because people look up to mods to be that balance. and to show how people are supposed to play/act

so what do you do when someone says something that is wrong. then when you try to tell them they are wrong and you fully explain yourself they insist you are wrong. then they pull up a website and on that website it clearly states what i explained multiple times. whats the next step?

Not just because of what he did things to me ( like trolling/ flamming), just by looking at his responses right after all the moderators or admin turned down his application. Usually when a person said something in the very first place, that would imply what his mind or his personality is supposed to be in the real life. When he/she regrets or changes the wording he used afterwards because he/she was caught by someone who knows his/her hidden cards, those statements would be questionable, either they are tailer-made for the paticular environment or made it look legit in order to achieve some goals. Well, this is kind of something called critical thinking in some ways. Anyhow, it's just my little recommendation to all the moderators here for the consideration of his application.
