Lag/drop issue

Postby Naruto-fr » Mon May 13, 2013 9:08 pm

Hi all,

These last days, I have high ping (between 70 ms and 200 ms) and mass lag in my games whereas I still have no connexion pb. Last time, I have sent an ENT tracer to Teller55. Then the lag has stopped. But now it comes back the two last days. I am wondering why... Is it due to the last upgrade or else? Is there a way to fix my issue?

Thanks and regards,

Naru

Which bots is it that you are lagging on? Also, have you tried using the ENT Connect proxy server? At the top of ENT Connect it has a drop-down to choose to hook through our Chicago server. This occasionally helps with lag spikes that some users get if they have a bad connection to our Atlanta bots.

Naruto-fr,

If you are on Windows, allow all programs the ENT Connect requests.

This is the only way out for you.

I have tried it and it is even worse. With ENT connect when I check my ping I have nearly 300 ms... I have tried clan ent one and with chicago proxy I have 500 ms...

Are you able to up a Tier with your Service Provider? Like Fibre @ 200 down, 100 up?

But the problem comes from your servers not from my connection which are often overloaded.

The problem is along your connection route to the server. Can you PM output of these in Command Prompt?

Not sure what's wrong, the traceroutes looked decent.

Actually, my ping is ok now. But it often moves. I think that sometimes the servers are overcharged or suck, that is why they drop some players or make me have high ping.

Seems to be resolved, toss me a PM if you want me to move this back to complaints since I'm processing it.
