Cross-reference on Dota Game-Crashing

A little discussion on this thread would be appreciated: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=34794

How common is it for people to crash games/bots? I didn't even know this was a thing. Is it a problem with the bots, with the LoD map, with War3? I don't even know where to complain :shock:

I suppose my only 'complaint' is that the bans page and the LoD bans entries didn't mention bot crashing. Is it new?

Greens aren't always around, you can't post a thread and expect a response within the hour.

@FarmerJoe

Hello,

Sorry for the late response. I have been busy with running the ENT tourny.

We have been updating/changing the Dota LoD map few times in the past few months. Just because it is an update, does not mean it is more stable than the previous versions we have hosted.

We are aware of games crashing. The cause of these crashes are due to the map itself and players who intentionally and unintentially exploit glitches. It is a general rule that we ban players who abuse glitches: crashes and hero skills. You may report these players by filing a ban request: viewforum.php?f=8

The map maker of LoD has been updating to fix crashes, but as you can see, there are still many bugs and glitches that needs to be fixed. You can find more info about the map and its updates on the official LoD page: http://legendsofdota.com/index.php?/fil ... 6a-beta-6/

We are currently trying to update our LoD glitch list on wiki. If you know glitches that you wish to let us know, please PM me.

Thank you.
