Rule Mod violated: Makes mistakes constantly. This one time (at band camp), he banned the guy who made the ban request instead of the subject of the request (See Extrememethod's most recent ban request or appeal). This guy doesn't read english very well, for whatever reason. He conflates opinion with evidence and is lackadaisical.

Lawl, moving this to complaints. viewtopic.php?f=24&t=14432 heres the request, if you watch the replay the alleged violator was not fountain farming, the OP was and you can even check the K/D ratio for what it was.

This complaint is just like the request pure spam.

first, let me say i didnt watch the replay. however according to the parser. (which can be buggy)

so looks like yondaime was correct in banning the OP. and btw its not that we are not allowed to ban the OP its that we generally dont. atleast when i was GM thats how it was. if we discussed it prior to banning him usually it was granted.
however, it just doesnt make any sense that someone would post a ban request for fountain farming when they are the one who were doing it.
anyways, all that being said, we are not perfect. no one is.
mistakes are made and corrected all the time. and that is ok. depending on the gravity of the mistakes of course.
but so far what the OP has submitted as "mistakes" is not nearly enough for a removal let alone a demotion. IMO.

Note: I forgot I am not allowed to ban the OP but Coolman was not fountain farming ExtremeMethod was.

So unless you have the actually request where he was fountain farming i will gladly do the ban, otherwise this whole request was just spam.

I apologize for banning the OP but next time do not post a replay where you are breaking a rule.

This seems like the complaint should be processed for the reason/qouted stated above. Yondaime shouldn't ban the OP, but he figured his own mistake and unban you. Yondaime is the most active mod on these forums and like yondaime said this is pure spam and should be processed. People make mistake like you posting a ban request of you fountain farming, just like how he banned banned the OP. no one is perfect, and being a mod doesn't mean you had to be perfect. Complaint should be processed.

I'm sorry I see no reason to remove or demote him. Moving to processed. In some cases we're allowed to ban the OP.
