nabo. kick (ent chat) abuse

Postby Love » Fri Aug 29, 2014 5:51 am

I have tried to explain to nabo. on a few occasions that when entering an existing conversation but changing the topic he can't just say things like
"You can't compare the two"

The most recent case was when Lisk and I were talking about the risks of LTD2 startups and League of Legends startup. Lisk compared the two games startup risks and I said they were different. nabo. said "You can't compare the two" and the conversation continued. It deteriorated to the point where nabo. was saying he was talking about League gameplay vs LTD gameplay, when he had mentioned nothing about gameplay only stating "You can't compare the two" I tried to explain to him that if he is going to change the subject to game play he must include that when talking about he comparison or else Lisk and I wouldn't know what he was talking about and just assume that he was referring to the Risks of Startup. As this was the topic being discussed, when I tried to explain how this works he kicked me from the room...

Here are the last few lines of the chat log ending where I am kicked

(22:40:09) nabo.: surpass ur nab english
(22:40:10) nabo.: lol
(22:40:13) cyberpunk: ¬¬
(22:40:19) Love: you don't add a subject to the line
(22:40:24) nabo.: hahah
(22:40:26) Love: If you don't add a subject to you rstatement
(22:40:31) nabo.: go learn to think nab
(22:40:35) ChatBot: Love has been logged out (Kicked).
(22:40:41) cyberpunk: omg
(22:40:43) cyberpunk: that's abuse
(22:40:56) cyberpunk: gonna report you nab
(22:41:00) nabo.: this aint his first dumbo moment

I could not go back to get any other parts of the chat as when I logged back in it had been removed from the recent chat as is the way chat works.

I understand the fact that nabo.'s knowledge of the English language is not at 100%, and as such he should be willing to learn from his mistakes, and even if he refuses to learn from his mistakes he should be able to ACCEPT the fact that he made one. I've been kicked twice trying to explain nabo.'s grammatical errors to him. I did not file a formal complaint the first time because I didn't think it would happen again and it was quite a while ago (While I was in Israel I believe). But now, after a 2nd incident, where I did not spam chat, or use harsh language or anything, that is unacceptable.

There was no good cause for him to kick me from chat.

This is the line written before (That I had copied already because I pasted in chat to show nabo.) that Lisk wrote, speaking about the risks of startup, and relating them to the risks of League. Nabo.s response was "You can't compare the two", but apparently he was talking about the gameplay. In no way shape or form did he mention the gameplay..

(22:30:34) Lisk: yeah, that's reasonable. it's definitely a risk--although people said the same thing about league when it came out ("this isn't enough to be a full game") and it worked. it might not work for us, but i couldn't see myself doing any other job until i try this

Note: I have this copied and pasted in case it is removed...

EDIT: I am going camping this weekend (tomorrow from 9:00am - Sep. 1st) and will not be available to respond to this post. I will be back and able to answer any questions, or respond to any comments the evening of September 1st. Thanks.
