What is the Plant of life on the castle fight map?

Is someone here who knows for what or whats the "plant of life" in the castle fight map is?

Your building's autocast abilities target the Flower Of Life. Example Well of Pain, Skull Pile, Frost Launcher, etc. Other than that it has no gameplay value.
