@MIKEJONES This deservers a 5 day ban : taking mid and destroying items to make sure we can't come back

Dude is soft as charmin… get him out of here we all dying for him to get his kills and he still gets mad about it and leaves should get a long ban for this. Admits to throwing is crazy

Sniper did follow through on his threat and destroyed all his items at the 23-minute mark. The violation is clear as day. That said, I want to remind everyone: just because someone is playing a carry hero doesn’t mean it’s a crime if they’re not using it to 100% efficiency.

Lower tier players using sniper is NOT the same as sniper being used by ifck/astros/frank etc.. Please try to show a bit of understanding for players who are practicing carrying or learning new heroes. Yes it's a 20+ year old game and yes tolerance and patience has been exhausted many moons ago. It's much easier to consider someone ruining than ever giving them any benefit of doubt but immediately flaming their face off is also fruitless.

We often complain about players not wanting to improve, but the only path to improvement is through practice. It's a double-edged sword. That being said, Sniper should’ve used !ignore instead of destroying items.

To follow up on what mikejones said,

The DotA community on ENT is quite small. You'll have consistency when it comes to facing/playing with similar players. While trash talk is common, especially in DotA, it's best to take note that when it happens - you have the very potential of running into situations like these.

"Soft" or not is irrelevant. You put your teams' morale and more importantly your gaming experience at jeopardy when you decide to spit flames on players that may not be to your/others level.

That being said, I don't expect people to become saints and never say a -bad word- again in their life, but just a general 'note' to the DotA community that actions have consequences. When you decide to berate and humiliate others, these things happen and like I've mentioned, it's a much smaller community now. As exampled by former threads in this very forum, it descends into chaos more often than not.

The staff here will continue to moderate and enforce our guidelines to keep games as clean as possible but ultimately it's up to you, the players, if you wish to keep this community intact and not have an all-out brawl both in-game and here.
