Violated Rule(s): Abusing power by locking the initial thread
Time of Violation (in-game or replay):
Any further thoughts:
Who gave you the right to lock that forum thread? The thread is about you. All you can do there is to respond and defend yourself. Nothing more. Again you abused your powers.
It pisses me off when people in society don't know their place. You have been given a few extra powers, in a game, in a forum about a bloody 2003, 22yrs old game, to moderate games because they thought you are capable of objective judgement and you know the game a little. Nothing more. You are not a fucking king or queen or whatever. You're just a petty admin of a 22yrs old game, administrating maybe 30 people around the world playing a few games per week!
Yet you still abuse these few and little powers you posses. Not only once, but twice. Even after the first thread... You still do it.
I would not trust any judgement you make. Why others should?
And from the response you made in the initial thread, it seems you expect us to come here and give you thanks... or else you would kick us out and join the game if you please to do so!
And no I wasn't the last person to join the game. You didn't kick the last person who joined the game. You picked the wrong person pal.
And you called that complaint "crying". Lol.
"Be ware!
I can kick you here and there!
Or else if you complain...
You would be crying!"
Don't lock this thread until someone above you come here and review it.

Re: Admin abusing power #2
When did i said i am waiting a thanks or anything from anybody ? i just said when one thing goes wrong, everybody is here to make a post, but when we do spend hours and hours for community, nobody come here to make a post, thats all i said.
I have right to lock this topic until an admin review this, and actually cumonlevia when i did this to you it was when you were in the dodge period
As i said, i won't do this again and i am talking to one of the head admin. And i apologized to you, but you still make a second post...

Re: Admin abusing power #2
So, here's what I'm going to say -
Firstly, before I even address the 'concern' itself - locking any threads in this appeal/pseudo request section is perfectly fine and 100% at the staffs discretion. I think it's no secret that this forum has a tendency to.. thrive in chaos. If a staff member wants to lock a thread and prevent an outbreak of 4-5 pages of just meaningless back-and-forth banter, that's completely within their right to do so.
Now onto the matter itself, which is the kick. It is blatant, and @iambackk recognizes this and apologized for his actions. If this were 2017-2018 ENT, no doubt this would've been made into a formal complaint and our staff department would've handled this. They're not active, and I don't plan to 'resurrect' them over something like this.
Moderators are not perfect, and in this case I think this kick demonstrates that. I can understand your frustration, it was unjust and believe me this isn't something that _should_ happen at all but because it did, doesn't mean the fires of hell should rain down. Like I said, if this were an earlier time in ENT, it would've been handled more.. formally. But it's not. And the reason I outline this is because in 2025, ENT even still standing with active moderators noless is a miracle.
That doesn't excuse mods to do as they please, and I will make that clear. But in this current day of ENT, it does change how things operate as the community is much smaller, a majority of the staff, myself included even, were/are gone. The 2 mods we have for the DotA community are newer and were made such as trusted members to step up and take care of the community they still play in.
In the end, as one of the last active members of Oversight, I will give a reminder to iambackk to prevent doing this sort of thing. It was wrong, but they apologized and recognized this fact and I will keep it at that. Clearly this doesn't take away from your frustration, and I don't expect it to do so - but what I will remind you is that this is a different period of ENT and keeping the 2 mods we have for the sake of our undying DotA community is much more valuable to me than making this a bigger matter than it should.
