[4.0.0][0101d][bug] Defender HP upgrade bug

Description: At some point in the game HP upgrades get messed up, gold is being taken from you, but you do not get HP upgrade and upgrade itself is back in RC as if it was not researched at all. There is also no "upgrade completed" sound effect. This happend to me twice, once as Tauren I wasn't able to get HP upgrade for 40 gold and additionally upgrades from ARC (I'm not sure if it was ARC) were behaving in the same way as mentioned above. Second time I was playing as Magnataur and couldn't get 45g upgrade (1st one), as for ARC I didn't check it that time.

Edit: I played as Magnataur again and this time I got 45g HP upgrade without any issues. I think this bug occurs sporadically and on random HP upgrade tier, which would explain why it hasn't been reported till now.
