Any further thoughts: I was out of base, he was dead, I sent courier to me and he cancelled it halfway while he was just sitting inside base (no reason you need to get your items sitting in base). Me being stubborn and having paid for the flying courier felt I should get priority for being out of base. After a few clicks both ways he took control. I informed him it was bannable and gave him many chances to reshare but he never did and ultimately bought my own.
