I really don't understand why you report potatoe. He got proxy and we all know he got a shitty connection he can do nothing about.

He even was ahead in that game. Why you need that degree of demotivation and extra punish him? What a dick move

Considering ent was down half a day and first u do is report ppl, it shows you didn't even act on impulse, but you wanted it that way!

Sad story and well done keeping the peace, fun and sportsmanship.

Cheers

P.S. Since we're all self righteous here, the 2nd game you're first to click drop

Lihl rules however are clear here:
Leave and Disconnection

Dropping player(s) is not permitted.

Since I wasn't in that 2nd game, I can't report you. So please do yourself, thanks.

Just my 2 cents..........

@Kreutertee
I report like 98% of the dc's happening.
He does lag EXTREM like every game and extends the game to double its time by doing so. He does live in Canada/Quebec (right?) ... It shouldnt be a problem for him to set up a stable connection, or at least a connection that does work A BIT better.
He is by far the most lagging player in the league (at least in my experience).
Ofc he was ahead, and i was in his team, so he did actually do a dickmove and play with bad connection resulting in me having to draw a won game. So instead of flaming me here, better flame him ^^.
Not signing if you have a connection like this is part of sportsmanship aswell!
When i was in Austria for several months, i first tried playing, then recognized that i lag like hell and destroy the experience for the others and therefor stopped playing when i knew that im on a spot with rather bad internet.

He doesnt live in Uganda or smth, ofc he can do smth about his connection.

Also, insulting somebody cuz he does want the rules of the league beeing enforced is just rude.

Have you tried playing from the WiFi on your campus/school library?

I like u potato but your lag does effect games and I'm not talking about DC on lvl 1 I mean when u lag every 3 seconds for 3 seconds during lvl 7 when someone trying to control king

Do they also have normal ethernet maybe? Cuz a lot of lags and stuff are just due to using a wireless connection.

And like tin said ... it makes it hard to control king and easily forces missheals. Its not just about the time lost.

Thats for people using gproxy ... they aint allowed to get kicked as long as they may reconnect. If somebody has no proxy, he cant reconnect after the 45sec anyway. If we wouldnt drop him, we would wait 5 minutes till he gets dropped for exceeding the total lag time.
IF you want to talk about such stuff and rules and so on, pls get your facts straight.

I had this text ready in the morning, but ent was down again :D

Anyway, here it goes..

First of all, I didn't insult anyone. If you consider the term "dick move" (as a description of your actions) and some minor sarcasm as an insult, then I'm sorry, but u will have to deal with that.

Regarding his Internet: please.. What do you know about Canadian infrastructure? Also he's a student... When I think back to my time at university (in Germany), I also had shitty Internet in my dorm and no, I couldn't just get myself a 2 year contract for 40-50 bucks a month. So there was the occasional lag. End of story imo.

But to get you right, you ask no less of him than to quit playing wc3 for the time he's studying coz he sometimes has shitty Internet? Not like he can specifically tell when his Internet sucks and when it's fine to play. We should be realistic here.

Been playing quite some time with potatoe and sometimes it's sad he laggs or drops, but seriously.. Whatever. Not like he's doing it on purpose.

Regarding rules: idk, the rules section doesn't give the information you mention. Seemed clear to me since the word "drop" was used and not "votekick", as usually drop doesn't work anyway when gproxy detected. But w/e, I won't comment anymore here.
