So I wanted to create this poll to see the general opinion in the LIHL community regarding swapping teams. We have already been talking about it in this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=72&t=14292
Swapping will under all circumstances only be allowed if 100% of the signed players agree!
I voted for option 2 because of the following reasons:
-Some people likes to team because they are good friends
-Some doesn't want to team because they can't agree
-I have only seen people swapping for these reasons - never to gain an elo advantage.
Should swapping teams be allowed in LIHL?

I don't play lihl, I don't think my opinion has a value anyway !swap should be removed from lihl.

Re: Should swapping teams be allowed in LIHL?
This is how I understand it to work: 1 player challenges another. If he accepts other players can !sign. The 2 captains will then in turn pick their teams.
But I guess we should test it online some time, because I don't know if this works in practice

This is also how I understand the !challenge mode.. Still doesn't make much sense in this case

Well if you want to play with someone and the rest are fine with it, you can just pick your team like that and you don't have to switch in A-bal games?

You lost me there..
- the challenge mode is played 1v1 - without elo
So you're saying that if someone spend time on that they can swap teams after?
Doesn't makes much sense to me

No after player 2 !accept the challenge of player 1, player 3,4 et cetera can sign. If enough players signed, player 1 and 2 can take turns in picking who is on their team.
This is at least how it SHOULD work, I haven't tested if it works in reality.

Seems a lot more imbalanced than using the swap command.. Not to mention the time waste.

Re: Should swapping teams be allowed in LIHL?
At the moment !challenge only works for 4v4. @uakf.b is it possible to make !challenge work for 2v2 and 3v3 too? So for example, !challenge2 is for 2v2, !challenge3 for 3v3?

Re: Should swapping teams be allowed in LIHL?
voted for yes, either that or remove the challenge mode as it is kind of the same thing ( if a 2v2 game starts, they can do !challenge then pick the right teams or just !start2 and swap to the teams they want ingame) Elo wise its the same, no matter if its swapped in game or before game by challenger mode
So mainly either Challenge mode should be removed and swapping not allowed or keep challenger mode and accept swaps if all players agree?
