On bnet it wasn't possible to whisper bots to !sign, so you actually had to be in channel to sign and not be able to snipe seats early for the next game.

Will there be any (technical) protection against that abuse? Otherwise I see two issues. People signing early and/or people signing double when they assume a game will end, but both teams actually survive.

As for now we can't sign. I mean, when you !start a game, it is automatically hosted and people can join. Just like with manual hosting.

I've thought about it already. The solution I have in mind should work that if someone is currently in a game, they cannot sign for another.

Tho, as Kiwi said, you can only !start for now. More developments will follow (!sign, challenge, and perhaps mode).
