hmmm its' getting philisophical, I like that.
The original "nature" of the map by "Lisk" didnt know such things as mercanary and x3. That stuff was added by other people later while I use cross build forever because there was also no GG (started cross around version 1.6 or 1.5 (not 100% sure) when the mid armor bonus was added. I played mostly mid before. All towers were NOT created for x3. x3 makes splash better, bouncing attacks better, auras better (you pay less precentage of your money for auras then in x1, so auras are like free value) and actually fucks up the whole, original ballanced interaction, between all towers.
So if you question the nature of the map go back to the roots and see if many many updated versions actually improved the original and best version LDT War 1.6b.
The creators of legiond td 3.5 beta share my point of view here and removed merc and ballanced a lot of towers.
And did you know there is a small movement that created legion td x1 pro recently? They remain faithful to Liks' work. But there are only very few oldschool lovers.
