First, i wanna start this off by saying i do NOT make this post to create any drama or out of spite. I just want to understand @nore]juno s decision. Ive spoken with several people and no one could give me a definite answer. I could have written to him in private, but since im not the only one wondering and i suggest smth at the end, i thought its better to make this in public. Dont take this as a rant nore, i dont even know who made the decision since im not mod staff etc
I am talking about the ban on toxicclogger for 14 days during his trialphase.
As far as i was concerned and was always told , you get about 3 weeks to show your rdy for LIHL , integrate into the community and show you are worthy of being here.
It is known that if you are banned on ENT you can not play LIHL aswell.
So if a player chooses to violate rules so massively that he looses 2 weeks of time to impress, shouldnt this be counted as he is not able to restrain himself and is purposely blowing his time here ?. Ive seen on other trialphases that they are given more time when they did not play enough games due to work etc or if the mods were not sure that they are ready for LIHLMembership skillwise. Why does this bantime that he willingly risked although he knew he will be banned from LIHL if report add up to his trialtime ? i Find that hardly unfair towards the other trials and sends a bad signal IMO.
I understand that you can get banned sometimes, i also suffer from a rly bad int connection and dc from time to time since my reconnect time exceeds the 180 sec given by proxy sadly.
Also there can be emergencies like i had today in a game when i had to afk 3-5 minutes cause i had to carry heavy stuff for my grandfather.Did not get a ban, but i would always afk in a game if an EMERGENCY happens. IT is a game, real life is more important and nobody plays this to pay his bills.
Please clarify this for me, since im not the only one wondering.
@Toxicclogger I do not make this post to demand and unvouch or a denied trial for you thats why i do not post this on your application but here. This is not a personal vendeta and i dont want to get you banned afterwards or anything like that It was the mods decision i would like to understand.
I dont find a valiant explanation in the rules aswell, but maybe i just dont know where to look.
In general id like to suggest that if we stick to ca 3 weeks, ent bantimes through rule violations should be counted as days not playing on purpose thus not parttaking in the League.
PLease help me out here Friends

Re: Trialphase time
Trial phase durations always vary a lot. Usually either due to the inactivity of our mod team or because of too little activity of the player.
Personally I don't really care about the ban. When he has played enough games (and I have time and motivation) I will handle his trial phase. If it takes too long for him to get games I'll warn and later deny it. Banned or not doesn't really matter.
If you look at the current trial vouches you will see that some (*edit: ok just 1
but 1 month and more isn't too unusual for a trial phase*) of the topics are open for even a longer time than his, so I don't see any problem? We are just lacking active moderation at the moment.
Also, if we would deny someone during the trial phase just due to him not being able to play cause of being banned what would we gain? Only more work to check another vouch request few days or maybe weeks later. We just need to assess if a player will be fit for LIHL in the future, whether that future starts 2 weeks earlier or later doesn't really matter, does it?

Re: Trialphase time
my main concern was that people should be more appreciative to play in lihl and do anything to keep that opportunity. as i said, just want clarification on that matter, not drama.I dont get the it happeneed on ent not LIHL so it shall nto effect his trialtime from nore which IMO it should.
Thanks for a fast answer

Re: Trialphase time
What's more concerning to me are the the complaints on his attitude, not the ban itself. Whether or not there is any real evidence though is yet to be seen. So far, I see 1 replay that is from LIHL regarding his skill/behavior, so unless something stands out, he will be treated like all our other trial members. If you want to build a case against him, gather replays on your own and present something substantial to us, and we will look into it. Until then, we will grant him the same rights as anyone else would be granted, keeping things objective and fair.
God is my strength.
