question about bannability

Postby hellomoto13 » Fri Jun 24, 2016 6:53 pm

in legion td mega 1v1, is it bannable to juggle your own king since there is no !ff feature? You don't actually punish anyone else except for yourself when you realize that you've lost. I did this in a recent game when I experimented with a new build and completely failed (not the best idea to try new builds in 1v1). I started to juggle king on lvl 4 after saying to the other guy that i'd love a rematch but he said what I was doing is bannable. Any admins or people of power care to chime in? I'd hate to be banned for such a silly offense but I want to make sure im following rules.

As we dont have an !ff command in the 1v1 games and you want to surrender its ok to do so.

maybe post in suggestion and ask for implementation of !ff for 1v1.

@Jabba41

I believe there are reasons as to why !ff is not implemented in 1v1 games.

@HazarDous Hmmm but if you want to surrender you should be able to or not? And if it isnt impelemted you can kill yourself or not? Like you dont damage anyone... (doubt anyone would report someone for it anyway)

The argument of ffing too early applies to LTD just as it does to DotA. Giving up can often be seen as refusing to play/take the challenge and therefore ruin your opponent fun and his time.

You should not treat it as a "go-to" method of ending games which, in your opinion - from your game perspective - are lost.

@art)y so, if you get to the point where you just give up and see no chance of winning, you are just forced to play out the game, and let the opponent just toy with you on when he/she wants to send or not, and can just drag the game out till beyond lvl 31 if they want to, because if you give up you ruin "their" fun and time, but screw your own fun and time eh.. I admire your skill to skip words but perhaps you should try it once in a while.

My post was merely to avoid people suiciding their king when they feel for it as the circumstances can often be different and judged differently, too. Therefore, my post in tl;dr; was: be careful what you do and dont see it as a general method.

Afaik there is no rule to sell towers 1v1.. since you are not teamkilling anyone but yourself in doing so. Kind of another form of juggling to death.
God is my strength.
