Dracolich dota and Java

Greetings, I am a new user user who is looking for a place to play Dota1 when I can't play Dota2 (various reasons) and when I'm feeling nostalgic, so I'm trying different servers. What made me come to Ent was the fact that you apparantly host Dracolich's dota map and that most people seem to recommend Ent gaming.

Now I have a few questions: Is Dracolich's dota map popular on your server or do most people play Icefrog's map? I am quite tired of playing that 6.83 map and I can't fathom why most platforms prefer Icefrog's map when Dracolich has fixed hundreds of bugs and introduced cool features to war3 dota that most people though was impossible to implement in warcraft. In my humble opinion 6.83 was not a particularly great version either. Furthermore I want to be used to the lastest changes when I return to Dota2 eventually.

I also want to know if you plan on hosting Dracolich's latest map ( 6.85i) since it seems you are hosting an outdated map on your bots ( 6.85c).

Also I noticed that to use the Entconnect page I need to enable-npapi when I am using Chrome, but it seems that the option is no longer avaible in the chrome experiments page that is linked on your wiki. Is there any other way to enable this function now? I prefer not to use Internet Explorer as it feels quite outdated to me.

We did host dracolich's map for a while but, to the best of my knowledge, received so many requests to switch back to ice frog's map that we went back. It's possible that we may switch all bots to 6.85i, but at the moment ENT bot 27 does host dota apem on 6.85c (though its not very popular).

As for the ent connect question I suggest posting in technical support @thegraveone

Dracolich's map is full of bugs, graphic issues and items-abilities not functioning properly so thanks, but no thanks. Moreover I don't see why ppl should adopt a map that u cant even play if u own a mac.

Ent really shouldn't listen to requests like that, dota players always complain when a new patch is released. This is usually what happens when a new patch is released.

u rly dont get it. we're not downvoting Dracolich's map because of balance-gameplay issues (which is the case with OSfrog maps), but because its full of shitty bugs and malfunctions. How many dota games u have on your back? if u play a lot there's just no way u haven't noticed what I'm talking about. Also, like i said, mac users cant even load this crap map on their computers. What about them? just kick them out of dota 1? These guys have no rights?

I play dota2 and I'm perfectly ok with the changes, they are just not easy to bring on a wc3 map

Will be doing another trial run soon.

I know the 6.84 version got a lot of fixes after we tried autohosting it and it is pretty stable. DIHL had been playing 6.84 for many months and had no issues.

Not sure how 6.85 is. Havent tested it.

The argument that 6.83 has less bugs is by those who are ignorant of the fact that 6.83 also has many bugs old and new. However, one problem is that dracolich map does not support mac os users. I communicated with dracolich, but it seems he will not be able to fix this issue any time soon.
