Postby NotYacapo » Sun Oct 18, 2015 9:02 pm

Just an idea seeing as some ideas i dont like and want deleted or if someone comments on my post and its irrelevant i should be able to delete it, how many people want to delete there comments or a bad post a needless post, whenever I don't like something I always change it to "Deleted Post" or "Deleted Comment"

They aren't reasons to keep the current rule, they are just work arounds.

Tip: Think twice before posting. Would do wonders to some users (*cough* lihl *cough*).

The ENT forum is place for all users to freely post on. Unless violating the forum rules, posts will not be deleted for mere disliking or other trivial reasons.

For the few people who actually read through the forums it is nice to have years of questions/answers/walk-throughs collected on the site from people still active or long gone. I belong to a couple of forum communities and what generally happens with a delete function is that people who leave the community for good delete all their posts, you know, like in case they run for president. And it would just be a loss to the community in terms of information. That being said I am pretty sure the greens are willing to edit or delete posts that a user may have written with some sort of personal information for fear of doxxing or something, but other than that, what does it really matter?
