Map Making - Is it too late?

Many years ago I was into map making. Nothing major, just small fun scenarios here and there for my friends and I.

But last night, I had a dream that I wanted to make a reality. My own survivors vs. hunter map. Problem is, its been so long I've forgotten quite a bit of the mapping. Which led me to an important question:

Is it too late to invest my time into mapping?
I know the warcraft 3 community dwindles fewer each day, but what do you guys think?

Depends if there is a demand for the type of map you are interested in making. So, ask around and see who is still around.

if you are going to have a bot hosting in all battle nets and many garena rooms then yes, if no then dont waste your time you will have a hard time finding players to play the map

There are always players that play a certain type of map.
I'd say it more depends on how much you host it after you finish it or while working on it.

As long as there are people who enjoy it... I know some guys who only installed their WC3 again to play certain maps.
