Starcraft, Warcraft III and Diablo II will return?

It looks like Blizzard wants to refresh the old classics. Probably something more or less similar to what people call "HD remakes".
This job opening may serve as a proof (quote below).

• Diagnose and fix all the things: crashes, deadlocks, overflows, heap corruptions, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Expert knowledge of C / C++
• A minimum of 5 years’ development experience
• Experience debugging unfamiliar code
• Passion for games
• Excite us

PLUSES

• Experience debugging Win32 or OS X game software
• Experience using Visual Studio or Xcode
• Experience with x86 assembly

Personally I think it's a good move. It will extend lifespan of the games and bring some new players.

Ew, no. In my opinion, SC and WC styles are entirely different and shifting the modern/space SC style to the old/earth wc3 style would make it feel just different (e.g. dota 1 and dota 2).

I like WC3 as it is.. They should make WC4 instead of trying to revamp WC3 and possibly ruin one of the best games of all times. I'd love a D2 remake tho, because D3 is not a worthy follow-up at all; you can't even trade there :'( Trading was like the most important part about D2 for me...

I think I'd rather have a rejuvenated WC3 than a WC4. WC4 would alter everything and there's a possibility it'll be bad AND damage the WC3 community at the same time.
