Suggestion: Hosting old ver. of ID

The title says most,
I think another bot should host an older version of ID main reason being stats. Most people in the current ID community both good/bad are focused on stats such as Elo and W/L. I also know some people don't want them or don't care and this could be an easy solution.

Another reason being that ID hasn't been updated in a while and some people are growing bored of ID currently even to the point where some quit, will bring back possibly old memories and fun to some of the ID community.

I've prepared an upside/downside list for if this was successful;
Upsides:
-Hosting an old version with no stats would just be to have fun and mess around for the most part.
-Would get rid of pubstomping Alts, or most of them atleast.
-Bring a little more interest back into ID, seeing as 3.0.9d has been around for a while.
-Possibly less flame and strict on basing spots.
Downsides:
-Not as populated as regular PUB ID.
-Would split the community if more found out which could possibly make game waits longer at certain times.
-Possible use of old bugs, not completely sure.

As to which versions should be hosted could vary from 3.0.6e to 2.8.5c or even lower.
Also, I posted it here instead of suggestions because it has to do with ID community more then just a general suggestion.

Second ID bot will fail horribly due to community splitting. And elo hunting is not caused by the map.
Also versions like 3.0.6e were full of bugs like desyncs on adv hunter trains.

3.0.9d is stable version.

Also old vers are alot more unbalanced (everything before 3.0.6e), e.g due to 10 mins cooldown on consumables in titan shop.

Currently version is probably the nearest one to be bug-free of all versions before - and it still has tons of bugs.
So I agree with drago.

About hosting: You can use ENT or MakeMeHost to host the ID fun maps.

Edit: Plus, before we get a new map with tons of changes (which would be a result of a new bot & map), the publics should improve and get skills for the current map...

I would love this, just saying. New vers arty speaks of would solve the problems though, hopefully. Unless of course it is like any ID maps ever to have been released ever.

When would this happen?

Eh, the "new" map I mentioned was meant to the old maps you would then host.
Getting the (old ver) map -> new map. Get the logic? :|

Concerning the actual new map from neco, dunno. He's working on the bug fixes..or maybe not.

Another version of ID will never be hosted, the community simply isn't large enough.

As has been said, feel free to host different versions using the free public hosting.

That's about all that needs to be said regarding the matter.
